Those students who cannot avail educational opportunities due to financial crises would get benefit from the tuition fee program. This youth program will ultimately lead to the development of economy of Pakistan.

Introduction

Prime minister has announced six welfare schemes for youth. PM’s Scheme for Reimbursement of Fee of Students from the Less Developed Areas is aimed at encouraging pursuit of higher education by students from less developed areas through financing of their tuition fees paid directly to the universities. The program comprises six schemes named as: Micro Interest Free Loans Scheme, Small Business Loans Scheme, Youth Training Scheme, Youth Skill Development Scheme, Fee Assistance Scheme and PM’s Scheme for Laptops Provision. For this purpose, Rs1.2 billion has been allocated which would cover the expenses of some 30,000 students with an average of Rs40, 000 yearly. Government of Pakistan would pay the tuition fees of all deserving candidates at master’s level & above.

Eligibility Criteria

All the students registered in Masters/ Ph.D programs in an HEC approved public sector educational institution are eligible for this program. As this program is specially designed for less developed areas so the applying students must have domicile of Interior Sindh, Southern Punjab (Bahawalpur, Divisions of Multan & DG Khan), entire Balochistan, less developed areas of KP (Kohistan, Malakand & DI Khan), GB & FATA.

How To Apply

You can apply in PM’s tuition fee program as per eligibility criteria mentioned above.  The tuition fee program will be completely on merit basis and transparent. The federal cabinet has already given approval to all these initiatives. All arrangements for the implementation of these programs have been completed. Therefore only eligible candidates should apply for this program. Here on this page you will soon be updated with the application process and registration forms will be available on Guider.pk & Government of Pakistan will announce the registration procedure with application forms after October 2018.
